The menu is supplemented by a list of weekly specials, and the restaurant is always happy to accommodate its customer's requests, advising them to ask for anything they cannot see on the menu. The selection of antipasti quite often includes several items that restaurant critics dismiss as old fashioned, but the customers continue to demand, such as Tricolore salad and Parma ham with melon. There's a familiar selection of pasta, plus a choice of pizzas, and a good variety of meat and fish dishes, including swordfish and the ever-popular Dover sole. One aspect of the traditional Italian restaurant missing here is the dessert trolley; steps make its operation impractical. Instead, there is a concise list of sweet things, plus dessert wines to supplement an almost exclusively Italian wine list of notable quality.
